East Chinnock - 19 May
Our concert on 19 May was held in St. Mary’s Church, East Chinnock the proceeds of which are going to help finance the building an inside loo. As the history of the church dates back to the 15th century one wonders how they have managed for the last 600 years.
The performance was attended by a large and enthusiastic audience and added to the excellent acoustics of the church helped the Boys enjoy the evening as much as everybody. A wide range of music was presented ranging from the rousing “76 Trombones” to the Welsh Love song “Yfory” via some Zulu and audience participation in “This Old Man” and included some Flanders and Swann, Beatles and a bit of Boogie from our in-house soloists.
